I loved this book. It has it all: travel, adventure, humanity, and fantastic cooking and eating! Victoria talks about food in wonderfully sensuous and sexy words; her descriptions of food are as though she's describing a lover. I've cooked some of her recipes and they were wonderful. Her passion and personality enrich the book the way spices and herbs infuse her dishes. It's a book about boats and food and travel and people--and I couldn't put it down.

What a page turner! So beautifully written - you feel as though you’re on the adventure with Victoria! Her descriptions of each adventure, from preparing meals in a cramped kitchen as the waves knocked her around, to swimming with the dolphins and the friendships and romance ...keep you waiting for what’s going to happen next! And the mouth-watering descriptions of her food preparations make you grateful the recipes are printed at the end of the chapter! Highly recommend!

What an amazing adventure! I can't stop reading! Wonderful description, interesting narrative. Very well written. I feel like leaving home and traveling the world! Format is easy to read and book size is comfortable to hold. I have bought several for friends because the book is so unique. When's your next book coming out, Ms. Allman?
